1969 Airstream Safari - Completed 4/25/07
This 1969 Airstream Safari arrived to us in pretty poor condition. The entire interior was beyond
repair, and the exterior had its share of issues as well. After many, many, many hours of work, it is
ready to roll again. We wish the new owners many happy miles in her.
Thanks K's for allowing us to do this project for you!

Gutted and ready to start
the rebuild. This trailer is
getting new framing (in
places), new floors, new
wiring, new insulation,
new interior skin, new
wheels, new window glass
- you get the idea. We're
almost starting from
scratch, but it is worth the
work to get a trailer you
can have 100%
confidence in.
In the beginning...
The one word that best described this trailer was filthy. It defied
description. Nicotine, cooking grease, animal remains - yikes. It needed
gutting fast before I lost my nerve.
But, before we go forward inside, we'll
get the exterior polished up and
weathertight. Have a look at our polish
work. We've had a lot of practice.
Ready for a look at the final result? I'll skip the descriptions and squeeze in the max amount of
pictures. I will tell you that the wardrobe door is not in place in the pictures - sorry.
